Black Stars first goalkeeper Joseph Luke Wollacott will be traveling with the Ghana team to Japan for the four nations tournament later this month.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that the goalkeeper is going back to London after exempting himself from the Black Stars squad that will be in Japan for the Kiri Cup.
According to reports, Wollacott missed Ghana’s game against Central African Republic through illness.
The England-based goalkeeper fell sick when the team landed in Angola for the Central African Republic clash on Sunday afternoon in Luanda.
Lawrence Ati-Zigi who kept the post for Ghana against Central African Republic is expected to be in post in the Kiri Cup as Ghana’s number one with Manaf Nurudeen deputizing.
Ghana Premier League winners Kumasi Asante Kotoko already refused to let Danlad Ibrahim leave, so the goalkeeper will likely not be joining the team in Japan for the tournament.
