Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi bagged his 3rd League goal for Maccabi Netanya in the Israeli Ligat HaAl on Saturday evening against Hapoel Beer Sheva.

The former Hannover 96 striker scored a consolation goal for the Yellow and Blacks who suffered a humiliating defeat on the road in their game at Beer Sheva.

After Andre Martin’s goal and Omri Gendelman’s own goal, the Red and Whites outfit went into the break with their noses in front.

Seven minutes back from the reccess6, the 27-year-old Ghana international grabbed one goal back for the visitors to give them hope with a beautiful strike after 52 minutes.

The home team scored two late goals to hit Twumasi and his team hard to hand them a 4-1 loss.

The Ghanaian has three goals in just five matches for Netanya after joining from Germany Bundesliga 2 team Hannover this winter transfer window.
