Midfield-gem Thomas Partey was full of smiles as he joined the group of Blacks Stars players to prepare for the game against Madagascar.
The English Premier League star player celebrated his 30th birthday on Tuesday and was full of energy as Ghana gears up for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar in Antananarivo on June 18.
He trained with the team for the first time as he missed the first training session on Monday as he was yet to report at the camp base of the senior national team.
Partey was an integral part of Arsenal’s Title charge this season which they eventually lost out to Pep Guardiola’s Treble winning Manchester City FC.
Hes expected to start for the Stars in their fifth game of the six AFCON qualifiers games on the road with Ghana in need of just a point to qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament which in Ivory Coast early 2024.
