Gideon Mensah features in AJ Auxerre’s 2-0 DEFEAT to Strasbourg

The Black Stars’ left-back was in action for AJ Auxerre on Sunday 19th March, 2023 in their Ligue 1 defeat to Alexander Djiku’s Strasbourg.

Alexander Djiku put up a good performance to help his side Strasbourg record a deserving 2-2 victory against Auxerre.

The two players enjoyed full 90 minutes for their respective clubs. They have both been named in Ghana’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier double-header clash against Angola by manager Chris Hughton.

A goal each from Gerzino Nyamsi and Mouhamadou Habibou “Habib” Diallo ensured Strasbourg picked all three points in the game.
