Ghana defender Gideon Mensah has returned to training with AJ Auxerre following the end of the Black Stars World Cup in Qatar.
The 24-year-old was part of Ghana’s contingent at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, playing one game as the team suffered a group-stage exit.
Mensah started and starred for Otto Addo’s side in the 3-2 victory over South Korea in the second group but was left on the bench in defeats against Portugal and Uruguay.
The left-back has however returned to France where he has joined his teammates in training after exhausting his holidays.
Mensah is going to be in shape ahead of the return of the French Ligue 1.
