Ghanaian defender Gideon Mensah has made a return to training at Auxerre after a disastrous end to Ghana’s 2022 World Cup campaign.
Mensah started just once for the Black Stars and although he put up an admirable performance against South Korea, he was dropped for another alternative against Uruguay.
After taking a vacation, the young defender has returned to the Ligue 1 side as he hopes to keep them above the relegation zone.
He will hope to continue the season in a good fashion when it returns.
