Ghanaian-born Dutch International Jeremie Frimpong is happy to be back on the field with the Oranje national team ahead of the UEFA Nations League.
The Ghanaian defender who plays for the Dutch senior national team after snubbing Ghana is expected to get his debut in the Oranje colours.
He was handed a maiden call-up in June but unfortunately got injured and could not make his Netherlands debut against Poland and Wales.
He will get the chance to do so when the Oranje takes on Lewandowski’s Poland national team on Thursday evening in the UEFA Nations League.
The Dutch will also play the Red Devils of Belgium in their second game this international break on Sunday on home soil before the break ends.
Frimpong, who has been in a fine form for struggling Germany Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen is expected to get his chances in those two matches before the World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year.
