Black Stars assistant coach Godwin Attram and Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko could be considered for the role of interim coach of Ghana’s senior national team, according to reports.
The two coaches have emerged as possible options as discussions continue over the technical direction of the Black Stars.
Attram, who is part of the Black Stars’ technical team, could offer continuity within the existing coaching setup if appointed to take charge on an interim basis.
Tanko, meanwhile, has experience in Ghanaian football and has worked with both club and national teams. His name is also reportedly being considered as a potential option to lead the four-time African champions temporarily.
However, no official appointment has been announced, and it remains unclear whether the Ghana Football Association will settle on either coach or consider other candidates.
The reports come amid continued attention on the Black Stars’ coaching situation, with supporters awaiting clarity on the team’s technical leadership and preparations for upcoming assignments.
For now, Attram and Tanko remain reported possibilities, with any decision on an interim appointment resting with the Ghana Football Association.
