West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) SC picked up a crucial win on the road in their round 32 clash at the DUN’S Park in Bibiani against Gold Stars.
The away team came from two goals down the record a hard earned 4-3 win over the Green and Yellow Miners.
Prince Opoku Agyemang scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game after just 14 minutes.
Kingsford Boafo added the second goal on the half hour mark to make it 2-0 before heading into the break.
Marvin Owusu, Emmanuel Ofori Agyemang and Emmanuel Intori scored on the 63rd, 70th and 71st minutes respectively to turn the game around.
Yakubu Hagg equalized later on but Ofori Agyemang scored late to win it for WAFA by a 4-3 score line.
