Ghana star Kudus Mohammed has been handed his first AFC Ajax Amsterdam start in the Dutch Eredivisie for the first time in five months on Saturday afternoon.
The Ghanaian international was injured in the month of November, 2021 when Ghana took on South Africa in their last group stage game of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Due to the injury, the Ghanaian is making his first start for the record Dutch Eredivisie Champions since he last started a game against, Go Ahead Eagles on Nov 7.
He helped Ghana to qualify for Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament which will be staged in November – December this year after overcoming Nigeria.
Erik ten Hag has rewarded him with a start since recovering from injury against FC Groningen this afternoon in the Eredivisie away from home.
