Ghana Football Association president, Kurt Okraku met with Southampton FC defender, Mohammed Salisu on Thursday, May 5th in England.
The president of the Ghana FA is believed to have met the player to convince him to play for Ghana in the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in June.
Salisu has been a talk of town for a while now in the country after rejecting a national team call-up on several occasions by three different Black Stars coaches.
After Ghana secured a World Cup berth in the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year, the talk of not considering him became a big topic in the country.
After the meeting with the president of the Ghana Football Association, the 22-year-old center-back is expected to accept Black Stars call up in the nearest future.
