Accra Hearts of Oak SC midfielder, Umar Manaf Abdul-Aziz has returned to first team training ahead of the 2021-22 season second round, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The double winner has finally joined his teammates at training after missing the first round of the 2021-22 campaign.
According to our sources, the player was sent to the junior team after he was seen as a surplus by head coach Samuel Boadu ahead of the start of this season.
It was widely reported that the player was on his way to Real Tamale United FC after falling in the pecking order at the Rainbow Club.
He was part of the double winking team of the Phobians last season and was a very important player of the team before Boadu took over as head coach.
He has rejoined his teammates and is expected to be included in the team’s plans for the second round of the 2021-22 season in Ghana.
