Joseph Luke Wollacott who plies his football trade at English League one side Charlton Athletic, was included in new manager Chris Hughton’s 25-man squad announced last week for 2023 ahead of Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations double header against Angola.
The Black Stars initiated their training sessions on Monday, in preparation for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Angola on Thursday, 2023.
Wollacott alongside Inaki Williams, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Antoine Semenyo, Joseph Paintsil, and newcomer Ransford-Yeboah all trained at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday 20th March, 2023.
Joojo Wollacott, who suffered an injury before the World Cup last year, received specialized training from goalkeepers’ coach Richard Kingston.
Ghana host the Palancas Negras on Thursday, March 23 at the Baba Yara Sports stadium before travelling to Luanda on Tuesday, March 27, 2023 for the reverse fixture.
