Aduana Stars secured a convincing 3–1 victory over Berekum Chelsea in an exciting Bono derby on Sunday.
Douglas Owusu Ansah opened the scoring just six minutes into the game, giving the home side an early advantage. After the break, Hensen Amponsa doubled Aduana’s lead in the 56th minute, putting the Ogya Boys firmly in control.
Chelsea, however, fought back and pulled one goal back through Seidu Abubakar three minutes later, briefly raising hopes of a comeback.
But Aduana sealed the win in the 83rd minute when Emmanuel Marfo found the net, restoring their two-goal cushion and closing the game at 3–1.
The victory adds crucial points to Aduana Stars’ campaign, while Berekum Chelsea will look to bounce back in their next fixture.
