Four standout players have been shortlisted for the NASCO Premier League Player of the Month Award for December, following a series of outstanding performances and decisive contributions for their respective clubs.
Rudolf Junior Nana Kwasi Mensah (Swedru All Blacks)
Rudolf was a key figure for Swedru All Blacks in December, scoring two goals and claiming one NASCO Player of the Match award in three league appearances. His goals came in the club’s 2-0 victory over Eleven Wonders on Matchday 13, performances that proved crucial as Swedru All Blacks ended the month clear of the relegation zone.
Peter Amidu Acquah (Asante Kotoko)
Peter enjoyed a sensational run of form, registering one goal and four assists in four league matches. His lone goal came against Eleven Wonders on Matchday 15, while his creativity and influence helped Asante Kotoko finish December among the league’s top five best-performing teams.
Kelvin Osei Asibey (Hearts of Oak)
The Hearts of Oak central defender was imperious at the back, playing a leadership role as the Phobians kept three clean sheets in four league matches. Kelvin also picked up two NASCO Player of the Match awards, the highest tally among the nominees.
Abdul Razak Salifu (Dreams FC)
Abdul Razak was in fine form throughout the month, scoring four goals and providing one assist in five league appearances. His contributions were instrumental in helping Dreams FC climb out of the relegation zone. He capped his December performances with a brace in a 3-2 defeat to defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars FC on Matchday 16, the final fixture of the month.
The eventual winner will receive a 43-inch NASCO television, courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited.
