Champions Medeama SC will officially be presented with the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League trophy on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, following a ceremonial coronation clash against regional rivals Basake Holy Stars at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
The Mauve and Yellow secured their second Premier League title in three seasons with a game to spare, underlining another outstanding campaign marked by consistency, resilience and tactical excellence under head coach Ibrahim Tanko.
Before their crowning moment at home, Medeama will make one final league trip to the capital, where they face Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, May 24, in the season’s concluding fixture.
Following the coronation match against Basake Holy Stars, the champions will be formally decorated with medals before lifting the coveted Ghana Premier League trophy – the crowning achievement of a remarkable season for the Tarkwa-based club.
Anticipation is already building ahead of Wednesday’s celebrations, with a capacity crowd expected at the TnA Stadium as supporters from Tarkwa and across the country gather to witness a historic occasion and celebrate Medeama’s latest triumph in grand style.
