Defending Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC will begin their 2026/27 campaign with the huge responsibility of protecting their league crown as they face a challenging opening run of fixtures.
The Tarkwa-based Mauve and Yellow side will start their title defence away from home against Dreams in the opening week before welcoming Port City for their first home game of the season.
Medeama will then travel to face Vision FC in Week Three, followed by another home fixture against Basake Holy Stars on Matchday Four.
The champions will complete their first five league matches with an away encounter against Debibi United.
Medeama will record three away games and two home matches in their opening five fixtures, providing an early test of their squad depth, consistency and ability to handle the pressure that comes with being defending champions.
Having conquered the league in the previous campaign, the Tarkwa giants will be aiming for a strong start as they begin their journey to retain the Ghana Premier League title.
