Karela United defeated league leaders Aduana FC in their matchday 13 fixture at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday, January 15.
Evans Adomako’s strike was vital for Karela who were without a win in their last five games heading into this fixture.
Both teams produced plenty of chances to score goals, but neither could finish the job.
After the opening half, Karela United appeared determined and soon after scored the game’s first goal through Evans Adomako in the 78th minute.
Aduana are currently in first place with 24 points after 13 games, despite the loss while Karela now move to 16 points while occupying the 15th position.
