Bottom placed Kotoku Royals will host fellow strugglers King Faisal on Matchday 23 of the betPawa Premier League at the Theatre of Dreams on Friday.

The home side who played gallantly against Accra Hearts of Oak will fight for the points having lost to the Phobians by a lone goal. The newly promoted side who find themselves in 18th place in the Premier League table have lost 15 games and won five after 22 matches played in the league.

Again, Kotoku Royals have won two games in their last five matches, losing two and drawing one. King Faisal drew their week 21 game against Bibiani Gold Stars at Abrankese and will be hoping to pick a win to put their survival hopes on track.

The Insha Allah boys are 16th in the League log with 25 points and have won two, drawn two and lost one in their last five League matches. Kotoku Royals since moving their venue from Cape Coast to Dawu are yet to lose a game after scoring 3 goals each in their last two home games.

Joe Boateng, Collins Kofi Kudjoe, Wilson Kwabena, Paul Abanga and Andy Kumi Francis are all on fire and provide Coach John Eduafo Jnr. plnty to choose from following their recent run of results.

For King Faisal, James Jimmy Cobblah would heavily rely on the the likes of William Dankyi Ntori, Gordon Donkor, Baba Yahaya, Samuel Boaye and Suraj Ibrahim to pull some magic in their quest to win on the road.

King Faisal holds an 8 point advantage against their opponents going into the game and would start as favourites despite being unimpressive on the road.

The match comes off at the Theatre of Dreams – Dawu on Friday, March 24, 2023.
