Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of former Nsoatreman FC midfielder Walid Fuseini, bolstering their squad ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who left Nsoatreman at the end of last season, signed a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday. His composure on the ball and ability to dictate play had attracted interest from several top-flight clubs, but Kotoko ultimately won the race for his signature.
Fuseini is widely admired for his versatility, capable of excelling in both defensive and attacking roles. His addition is expected to bring energy, creativity, and balance to Kotoko’s midfield as the club seeks a strong revival after an inconsistent run last season.
The move also aligns with Kotoko’s new technical direction, as the former Ghana Premier League champions look to build a competitive side capable of challenging for silverware in the upcoming campaign.
