Techiman Eleven Wonders have placed a substantial price tag on their highly talented defender, Kelvin Osei Asibey, following his impressive performances in the Access Bank Division One League last season.
At the age of 22, Asibey has garnered attention from top clubs in the premier league, including Accra Hearts of Oak, after Eleven Wonders failed to secure qualification for the Betpawa Premier League.
In the playoffs of Zone One, Eleven Wonders suffered a penalty shootout defeat to Bofoatwa Tano after a 1-1 draw in regular time. Asibey’s exceptional displays on the field captured the interest of Accra Hearts of Oak, among other premier league giants.
According to previous reports from SportsWorldGhana, personal terms have already been agreed upon between the Phobians and the young and talented center-back.
However, Eleven Wonders have rejected an offer of GHC 40,000.00 from Accra Hearts of Oak, instead requesting a sum of GHC 100,000,00, according to the information we have received.
Negotiations are still ongoing, but it appears highly likely that the right-footed defender will ultimately make his way to Accra.
Asibey is expected to sign a five-year contract with Accra Hearts of Oak in preparation for the upcoming 2023-24 football season should both parties agree on a fee.
