Emmanuel Sarkodie, former captain of Nkoranza Warriors and midfielder for Asante Kotoko and King Faisal, is reportedly close to finalizing a move to Nations FC.
Nations FC, preparing for their debut season in the top-flight league in Ghana, has begun their preseason training in Abrankese, Ashanti Region.
In their bid to add experience to their squad, Nations FC recently secured the services of coach Kassim Mingle from Bechem United, who finished third in the previous season’s Betpawa Premier League.
Now, the team is on the verge of securing the signature of Emmanuel Sarkodie, who has been a part of the Ghana Premier League for the past three years with Asante Kotoko and King Faisal.
The 27-year-old midfielder is currently training with Nations FC during the preseason, and reports suggest that he is likely to sign with the newly promoted side before the end of the week.
It is anticipated that Sarkodie will sign a one-year contract with Nations FC. Prior to his time with Asante Kotoko and King Faisal, he played for Kenpong Academy in Division 1.
