Accra Hearts of Oak SC and Medeama SC have reportedly joined the race to sign Emmanuel Boateng, the captain of Eleven Wonders FC, as competition for his signature intensifies ahead of the next transfer window.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has been one of the few standout performers for the struggling Techiman-based side this season, registering 27 league appearances with a goal and an assist despite the club’s difficult campaign near the bottom of the table.
Boateng has earned praise for his creativity, vision, and composure on the ball, as well as his leadership qualities after being entrusted with the captain’s armband at a young age.
His consistent performances have attracted interest from several Ghana Premier League sides, including Berekum Chelsea FC and Swedru All Blacks United, who are also monitoring his situation closely.
However, Hearts of Oak and reigning champions Medeama SC are now believed to be leading the chase for the highly rated youngster, with both clubs looking to strengthen their squads for next season.
Boateng’s potential departure would be a major setback for Eleven Wonders, who are battling to avoid relegation and rely heavily on their captain’s influence in midfield.
As the transfer window approaches, the young playmaker is expected to become one of the most sought-after talents in the domestic league, with the battle for his signature likely to intensify in the coming weeks.
