Former Asante Kotoko and Great Olympics defender Christopher Nakai Nettey has officially signed with Nations FC during the ongoing transfer window.
The 25-year-old right-back joins Nations FC as a free agent after departing Great Olympics at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Nettey initially signed with Great Olympics following his exit from Asante Kotoko, where he had built a solid reputation as a dependable full-back. Last season, he featured prominently for Olympics, making 20 league appearances and scoring two goals.
Nations FC, determined to bolster their squad ahead of the second round of the league, view Nettey’s experience and defensive prowess as critical assets for their campaign.
The club is optimistic that the addition of Nettey will strengthen their team as they aim to climb higher in the league standings.
