Heart of Lions will host Bofoakwa Tano at the WAFA Park in Sogakope in match week four of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

Heart of Lions, affectionately known as the “Giant Killers,” have yet to secure a victory in the Ghana top flight since their return after an eight-year absence. They are hoping to secure their first win against their fellow returning team.

In their first three games of the season, Heart of Lions have recorded three consecutive draws: goalless stalemates against Asante Kotoko and Great Olympics, followed by a spirited 2-2 draw against Real Tamale United last weekend.

On the other hand, Bofoakwa Tano, who returned to the Ghana Premier League after a 16-year absence, have made an impressive start to their campaign.

They currently sit at the top of the league table with 7 points from three games, having secured back-to-back home wins against Hearts of Oak and Real Tamale United, with an opening day goalless draw at Accra Great Olympics.

While Heart of Lions are eager to secure their first three points of the season, Bofoakwa Tano will be determined to maintain their position at the top of the table with a positive result.
