Young Apostles Football Club has announced the departure of Head Coach Joseph Asare Bediako, effective immediately, marking the end of his tenure with the club.
The club confirmed the decision in an official statement released on Thursday, November 14, stating, “This comes to inform the sporting community that the Management of Wenchi Young Apostles FC has parted ways with COACH JOSEPH ASARE BEDIAKO with IMMEDIATE EFFECT.”
The statement also expressed gratitude for his service, noting, “Management sincerely thanks him for his dedication and hard work during his time with us. His contributions have been appreciated. We want to express our sincere gratitude for his months of service and dedication to our team. The Management of Young Apostles FC and all stakeholders wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors.”
Coach Asare Bediako’s departure follows a tenure in which he oversaw 10 matches in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season. During this period, the team registered two wins, four draws, and four losses. Despite the mixed results, Bediako played a key role in shaping the team’s early-season performances.
Sources suggest that the management is already in talks with a potential replacement to lead the team forward, with a new head coach expected to be appointed soon.
