Ghana forward Osman Bukari played perhaps the best game of his career with a hat-trick in Red Star’s 5:0 victory over Pjunik, in the third round of Champions League qualification on Wednesday night.
The Ghanaian International was simply unplayable as he bagged a hat-trick for his side in their massive 5:0 drubbing of Pyunik.
Bukari, 23, struck in the 29th, 44th and 70th minutes respectively to help Red Star Belgrade record an emphatic victory on the night.
Buakari speaking after the game: “Great game. We were ready for it, we fought from start to finish, and I’m happy for the team that we achieved victory. I’m happy for myself, of course, it’s no small thing to score three goals in a Champions League qualification match.”
The fast-footed Ghanaian says he is delighted with the atmosphere after his hat-trick.
“Beautiful atmosphere, I feel great playing in front of Zvezda fans. I thank them for the applause and for chanting my name. I love them! They love me too, so we enjoy it. But I knew everything about Zvezda fans even before coming to the club, they are always like this.”
The Ghanaian international dreams of repeating his impressive form in the reverse leg to help his team progress to the next phase of the competition.
“Of course, I would like to repeat this game, but the most important thing is to advance. I will do everything in my power to move on, but now we have to rest and prepare well for the second leg.
“I was a runner before I chose football. I’m fast, when I have the ball at my feet, I have to use it – is the conclusion of Bukari.” added the Ghanaian international.
