Ghanaian midfielder Iddrisu Baba has conveyed his excitement following the announcement of his transfer to Spanish La Liga side UD Almeria from fellow La Liga club Real Mallorca.

UD Almeria made public his signing through an official statement posted on their Twitter account.
The statement affirmed, “Iddrisu Baba, the latest addition to UD Almería! The footballer arrives on loan, with a purchase option, from RCD Mallorca.”
Having initially joined Mallorca in 2014 after transitioning from Leganes’ youth team, the 27-year-old midfielder made a notable mark, accumulating a total of 91 appearances during his tenure with the club.
However, Baba Iddrisu faced limited playing time with the club during the previous season, primarily due to injuries. These recurring injury concerns have been present over the past two seasons.
The departure of the Ghanaian midfielder from Mallorca signifies the culmination of an association that spanned almost a decade with the team.
