In an X, formerly Twitter post, the ex-Manchester United skipper has let the whole world know his acceptance of the MP’s apology.
Isaac Adongo, 51, an MP for Bolgatanga Central Constituency in the Upper East Region of Ghana compared the country’s Vice president, Alhaji Mahmoud Bawumia’s performance regarding Ghana’s economy to Harry Maguire’s performance in 2022.
Harry Maguire,30, an English international has endured public ridicule for the last 4 years and was even stripped of his captaincy due to lack of playing time.
The towering centre-back has been able to revive his career and is now a regular for Manchester United.
The Member of Parliament of the 8th Ghanian Parliament has issued an apology to Harry Maguire and the English footballer has accepted it and has even encouraged him to come and watch him at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United.
