Former Hearts of Oak CEO Harry Zakour has encouraged the club to finish the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season strongly, urging the team to target a top-four spot.
With four matches left to play, the Phobians currently sit sixth on the league table with 46 points. Despite an inconsistent season, Zakour believes the team has shown progress compared to last year.
“Last season, the club underperformed and finished in an unpleasant position. However, this year, the team has shown significant improvement,” he told Kessben FM. “With only a few matches remaining, they are in a much better position. Considering their current standing, they should aim to finish third or fourth in the league.”
He emphasized the importance of staying committed in the final stretch. “It’s crucial for them to maintain their focus and continue pushing forward to secure a strong finish,” he added.
Hearts of Oak will look to boost their standing when they travel to face Berekum Chelsea on Sunday in a crucial Matchday 31 fixture.
