Samuel Nzemaba, a former captain for Ghana Premier League side Accra Hearts of Oak SC is livid with the club’s decision to employ David Ocloo for most part of the just ended 2022-23 season.
The midfielder, who during his time was one of the most important players for the Phobians says he’s not going to watch idle for the club to appoint the interim coach David Ocloo to lead the club again.
According tto him, the coach is not fit for the job because of his output for the Rainbow Boys during the 2022-23 season which saw the 2021 champions finish 12th on the league table after the season with 46 points.
“David Ocloo can never handle Hearts of Oak. I heard him in an interview saying he is ready to coach the team if given the opportunity.”
“You had a poor result as an interim so how can you be appointed as the head coach,” he told Ghanasportspage.com.
“It’s not done anywhere and I won’t even agree if they decide to give him the job. David Ocloo is an average coach.”
“Hearts is not like Bofoakwa Tano and other small clubs. The team demands and you can’t sack the head coach and give the job to someone who is an average coach.”
“It was a big mistake but I hope things will change next season to get someone who can control the team,”
