Hearts of Oak will not name former Great Olympics trainer Annor Walker as head coach, according to club board member Vincent Sowah Odotei.
Since the team parted company with coach Samuel Boadu, the current Black Galaxies head coach is one of two coaches who have been mentioned in connection with the vacant position at the club.
David Ocloo was hired by the Phobians as the club’s assistant coach ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup against AS Real Bamako, working alongside U-20 coach Samuel Nii Noi.
“Coach Annor Walker does not want to coach Accra Hearts Of Oak and this is the truth what I can say is that if He wanted to coach Hearts we would have brought him to Hearts Of Oak.”
“He does not want to coach Hearts of Oak that’s all I can say” Sowah Odotei told Hot FM.
Hearts were knocked out of the CAF competition by the Malian side despite a 1-0 win at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
