Ghanaian gospel singer Nacee has revealed former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan came through for him by giving him an amount of $8,000 back in 2015 for the organisation of a musical concert.
According to the celebrated producer, he was struggling to put together funds for his own program when the former Al Ain forward stepped in without being asked.
“In 2015, I was organising a concert and was in desperate need of money as things became tough for me,” Nacee told Kofi TV in an interview.
“Asamoah Gyan gave me $8,000 at that time. In fact, I need an opportunity to meet him and say thank you,” he added.
Recognising the words of Nacee, Gyan shared the same video on Instagram with the caption, “Not everybody will come back and say thank you.”
Gyan has not played professional football since leaving Legon Cities at the end of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
