Ghana’s all time top scorer, Asamoah Gyan has revisited the damning statement made by South Dayi MP Rockson Dafeamakpor for claiming the former captain intentionally missed the crucial penalty in 2010 because NDC was in power.
In an interview on Onua TV with Nana Ama McBrown, the former Sunderland player criticized the law maker for engaging in cheap talk.
“Somebody even went to make a cheap talk, it’s because of that I missed the penalty (2010 WC) he is an NDC person, I don’t know him but he is the one who knows my name. Am sure he might have even used my name for favors outside the country”
Asamoah Gyan came under a barrage of attacks from a cross section of Ghanaians when he decided to pitch camp with the NPP as the Chairman of the youth Manifesto for the upcoming 2024 election on December 7.
