Hearts of Oak lock horns with arch rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday during a rescheduled Ghana Premier League match.
The Porcupine Warriors are the team on form having won 11 games after 16 matches and lead the league table with 36 points – six more than closest challengers Bechem United. Kotoko could widen the gap at the top if they avoid a defeat on Sunday.
Meanwhile Hearts of Oak – who are twelve points behind their Sunday opponents – have endured a torrid season domestically and in Africa.
But the Phobians boast of a better head to head record over Kotoko in the last six league matches between them including those in the truncated seasons of 2018 and 2019/20.
Hearts of Oak have won three games against just one win for Kotoko whilst the other two games ended in stalemates.
