Senior board member of Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has expressed his disappointment in attacker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.
Reports by various sources in the media has confirmed that the player is on his way out of the club as his contract with the club comes to an end.
The senior thinks the player is being ungrateful if he really wants to leave the Phobians after everything they did to bring him to Limelight after he was rejected by Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.
Dr Nyaho Tamakloe :“ I’ve told my colleagues on the board that we should not allow him to dictate to us.”
“If he is unwilling to sign we should allow him to go because it was Hearts that brought him to the limelight and if he wants to be ungrateful he should be allowed to go”, he said.
Barnieh have won two back-to-back MTN FA CUP trophies with the Rainbow Boys and one Ghana Premier League title which was the first in over a decade for the Phobians.
During his time at the club, the youngster captained and won the 2021 Africa Youth Championship and the WAFU Zone B U-20 tournament respectively.
He helped Ghana to qualify for the CHAN tournament after missing the last three editions and scored three goals as Black Meteors qualifier against Mozambique and ready to play DR Congo for a place in the next CAF U23 tournament in Algeria.
