Hearts of Oak defender Michael Ampadu has expressed his disappointment following their defeat to Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors completed a double over their arch-rivals, having secured a thrilling 3-2 victory earlier in the season.
The Uganda international scored two remarkable goals, leading the Porcupine Warriors to victory and earning the three maximum points.
Mukwala opened the scoring just eight minutes into the game and sealed the win in injury time, ensuring maximum points for the Porcupine Warriors.
“Words can’t discuss the feeling of letting down and disappointing our glorious fans. Congratulations to @AsanteKotoko_SC,” Ampadu wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The win propels Kotoko into the top half of the table, now in 9th place and further from the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak find themselves in a precarious position, sitting 14th on the table, just two points above the drop zone.
