Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC are yet to win a single game in the ongoing Ghana Premier League since announcing the signing of Ghanaian legend Sulley Ali Muntari.
The former Inter Milan and AC Milan midfielder joined the Phobians on February 1st as a free agent and has since played in three matches for the Accra Hearts of Oak SC.
After his announcement, the 37-year-old was involved in the Ga-Mantse derby against City rivals Accra Great Olympics FC on the 6th of February when the Phobians loss by a lone goal to the DADE Boys.
Sulley played 78 minutes in the next game against Real Tamale United FC at the Aliu Mahama stadium in Tamale and the Phobians drew goalless with the newly promoted team.
On Sunday, February 20, the UEFA Champions League Winner featured in the Ghana Super Clash against rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC in the highly competitive and entertaining games which ended goalless.
Since the legend joined the Phobians, the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League and MTN FA CUP winners have failed to score in three matches and are yet to win a single game.
But with Sulley’s passing and ability to play strikers through on goal, one could say that it is a matter of time for the Rainbow Boys to start firing from all angles.
He has wowed the football fans in the country with good performances and came close to scoring in his first Super Clash game in his career.
Hearts strikers must up their game and their finishing as Sulley could have bagged a hat-trick of assists if not for the poor finishing of the Accra-based Club.
