Gazale Abdulai, Assistant Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, has been handed a three-match ban, fined GHS 5,000, and formally warned by the GFA Disciplinary Committee following misconduct during the club’s Ghana Premier League clash with Medeama SC.
The committee found Abdulai guilty of assaulting a ball retriever during the game, an action deemed unacceptable and in violation of league regulations regarding conduct on and around the pitch.
The three-match ban takes immediate effect, preventing him from participating in upcoming league fixtures until the suspension is served. This disciplinary measure aims to reinforce fair play and proper behavior among team officials.
The GHS 5,000 fine must be paid within 14 days of receiving official notification, while the warning serves as a formal reminder to maintain professionalism and uphold the integrity of the game.
