According to Accra-based Angel FM, Hearts of Oak are in advanced discussions with TSG Hoffenheim regarding a potential training camp in Germany. This initiative is part of the partnership between FC Cincinnati, Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim, and Hearts of Oak.
If the agreement is reached, the Phobians will travel to Germany to continue their preparations for the new season. The trip is expected to provide them with valuable exposure to European football and allow them to fine-tune their skills under the guidance of experienced coaches.
Hearts of Oak narrowly avoided relegation last season with a thrilling 3-2 comeback win over Bechem United on the final day of the Ghana Premier League. With this preseason tour, they hope to build momentum and make a strong impact in the upcoming season, which kicks off on September 6, 2024.
