Accra Hearts of Oak SC legend Mohammed Polo has urged the club to go for an astute coach for their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup competition.
He stated that the Phobians needs a good coach with track record for the Inter-continental club competion despite having a head coach.
According to him, the club has a lot of quality players and do not understand why the team can’t perform in the league.
“I wish Hearts of Oak get a coach with a track record and who can add some value to the team going into Africa because I still don’t understand why the team can’t perform with these players”, Hearts of Oak’s Legend, Mohammed Polo on OTEC FM.
Hearts of Oak chalked an unwanted record in the CAF Inter-continental championship last season and would be hoping for a change in next season’s edition.
Hearts of Oak came from a goal down to beat Bechem United FC 2-1 in the final of the 2022 MTN FA Cup Competition at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday evening.
The Phobians will represent Ghana in the 2022-23 CAF Confederation Cup competition following their win over the Hunters.
