Hearts of Oak and striker Isaac Mensah have reached a mutual agreement to part ways, with an official announcement expected soon.
Mensah, who joined the Phobians from Nkoranza Warriors on a three-year deal during the 2020/2021 season, will not be continuing with the club following the expiration of his contract.
The 21-year-old played a significant role in helping Hearts of Oak secure the domestic treble in the 2020/21 season, but his recent performances have been below par.
During his time with the Rainbow boys, Isaac Mensah contributed to the team’s success by winning the Ghana Premier League title, two FA Cup trophies, one Super Cup, and two President’s Cup titles.
In 68 games for the club, Mensah netted nine goals and provided two assists.
Hearts of Oak, the 21-time Ghanaian champions, are currently undergoing a complete overhaul of their playing squad and technical team as they strive to establish a formidable side for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign.
