In a friendly match held at the Pobiman Sports Complex, Hearts of Oak secured a 2-1 victory over Miracle Land FC, a team from the lower tiers of football.
Hamza Issah, a product of the club’s academy, showcased his prowess by netting both goals for the Phobians.
The game featured a blend of established players, including Richard Attah, Francis Adjetey, Seidu Suraj, Amankwaa Baafi, Rashid Okine, Enoch Asubonteng, Clinton Appiah, Franklin Owusu, Zakari Yakubu, among others.
Additionally, the newly acquired talents Liventius Arthur, Raphael Amponsah, Martin Karikari, and Evans Adomako had their presence felt on the field. The Congolese international, Kashala Wanet, also took part in the match.
Hearts of Oak organized this match as a component of their comprehensive preparations for the forthcoming 2023/24 football season, slated to commence on Friday, September 15.
The Phobians’ season opener is set to take place against Real Tamale United (RTU) at the esteemed Aliu Mahama Stadium situated in Tamale.
