Local football expert Opoku Afriyie (Pkay) has revealed that an unknown Serbian club has made an offer to Hearts of Oak for defender Caleb Amankwah.
The player is said to have accepted the deal, but the Accra-based club is not satisfied with the amount offered by the foreign club.
According to the report, the Serbian club has offered $300,000 to sign the WAFA Academy graduate, but Hearts of Oak have been negotiating with the player for a contract renewal.
Amankwah’s current deal with the club is set to expire in July 2023.
Hearts of Oak have reportedly offered the player a monthly salary of Ghc 7,000, but sources close to the player have indicated that his camp is not pleased with the offer and may not extend the contract.
