Accra Hearts of Oak have confirmed the signing of 22-year-old midfielder Abdul Karim from Nations FC on a two-year contract.

Karim impressed last season with 19 league appearances, showing strong work rate, ball-winning skills, and calmness on the ball. His good form even earned him a call-up to the Black Galaxies during the CHAN qualifiers, though Ghana missed out on qualification.

He becomes the fifth new player for coach Didi Dramani’s side this transfer window, after Frank Duku, Prince Kwabena Owusu, Ali Mohammed, and Baba Amadu.

The Phobians are preparing for the 2025 GHALCA Top 4 competition as they get ready for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season. Their first game is against Heart of Lions on Wednesday at the Legon Sports Stadium.
