Hearts of Oak midfield-gem, Sulley Muntari will miss Sunday’s clash with Aduana Stars FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.
The Ghana legend has been exempted for the long trip to Dormaa to face the two-time Ghana Premier League winners by his club.
According to the release by the club, the former Inter and AC Milan midfielder has been advised by the midical team to sit out the game at Dormaa after picking up a knock in the WAFA SC match.
There was a widespread of reports by various media sources and personalities that suggested the Ghana legend has opted to stay out of the match because of no flight to Dormaa.
Hearts released a statement to cool down the reports in the media space with an explanation which read;
