As the Phobian Club prepares for the upcoming season, they are set to part ways with underperforming players in a bid to build a formidable side.

The 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season was a struggle for Hearts of Oak, who finished at the 14th position with 45 points. Their survival was only secured on the final day of the season, thanks to a thrilling 3-2 win against Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

According to sources close to the club, Hearts of Oak is planning a major overhaul of their squad. “Hearts of Oak is set for a major overhaul,” a source revealed. “We intend to part ways with underperforming players and build a more formidable squad capable of competing for titles next season.”

The club is expected to recruit new players to bolster their squad for the upcoming campaign. The new signings will be tasked with helping the team improve their performance and make a push for the top spots in the league.
