Vincent Sowah Odotei, a Board Member of Hearts of Oak, has expressed a resolute commitment to their goal of achieving competitiveness and securing every available trophy in the upcoming season.
In the previous season, the Phobian Club faced a challenging journey and found themselves on the brink of relegation. However, they demonstrated their determination by securing a crucial 1-1 draw against Berekum Chelsea on the final day of the season at the Golden City, thereby securing their position in the topflight league.
As the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League is scheduled to commence in September, Mr. Odotei emphasized their ongoing efforts to establish themselves as formidable competitors.
He highlighted their ambitious aim to triumph in every tournament in the upcoming season, stating, “The target of Accra Hearts of Oak for the upcoming season is to be competitive and win everything in front of us,” He told LUV in Kumasi.
The pre-season preparations for Hearts of Oak have already commenced under the guidance of technical director, Rene Hiddink. While the first batch of the technical team has been announced, the club is anticipated to confirm the second batch, which will include the appointment of a substantive head coach.
To kick off their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign, Hearts of Oak will face Real Tamale United (RTU) in an away game at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
