The Tanzania Football Federation has announced that Hemed Morocco would be in charge of the team for the rest of the AFCON after the sacking of Adel Amrouche.
Hemed Suleiman Morocco will be the head Coach of Taifa Stars and his assistant will be Coach Juma Mgunda in the ongoing AFCON.
Tanzania parted ways with their 55-year-old Algerian gaffer Adel Amrouche after he made a comment that Morocco controls CAF hence CAF will favour them when appointing a referee to officiate Tanzania’s game against Morocco which they lost 3-0.
Morocco lodged a formal complaint against Adel Amrouche and CAF subsequently suspended him for 8 matches and he is to pay a fine of $10,000.
This led to Amrouche’s sacking by the Tanzanian Football Federation.
Morocco and Algeria have been in political dispute since the 1960s hence his comments were very unnecessary because they could cause chaos.
Hemed Morocco’s first task will be a game on Sunday against Zambia.
