It has been confirmed that French tactician Herve Renard has said YES to the Egyptian Football Association to be the new manager after Rui Vitoria was sacked on Sunday.
Herve Renard, 55, has been in charge of the French Women’s National Team since 2023 and has a contract that will expire in August 2024.
Reports say Herve Renard has agreed to manage Egypt but it must be after the Olympic games in which he is set to lead the French Women’s team as their head coach.
Herve Renard won the 2012 and 2015 AFCON titles with Zambia and Ivory Coast respectively.
The two-time winner of the coveted AFCON has enormous experience in African Football after managing Angola, USM Alger, and Morocco in addition to Zambia and Ivory Coast.
